Accredited Exercise Physiologists are specialised in prescribing and designing safe and effective exercise programs for health. They are University trained allied health providers who have extensive knowledge of how the body moves, functions and therefore can help people with acute, sub-acute, or chronic medical conditions, injuries, and disabilities.
Personal training typically involves training healthy people who have little or no existing injuries or conditions whereas Exercise Physiology is tailored for individuals who require extra attention and consideration while exercising. Exercise Physiologists must complete at least 4 years of tertiary study and are regulated by Exercise and Sports Science Australia. Most Exercise Physiologists have a provider number and are certified to work with individuals with Medicare care plans, Workcover/CTP and NDIS participants.
Online coaching is one of our services we have designed for individuals who have no exercise plan or structure. Our online coaching is fully customisable to clients and their access to Gym equipment. Our exercise physiologists design and create personalised monthly exercise programs to ensure you are progressing and getting stronger. This program is delivered to clients via our partnered App, Everfit. This app allows you to visually see your workouts, exercises and track your results and chat with our Exercise Physiologists if you do not like certain exercises or find certain movements aggravating. For only $75 a month, this service has been groundbreaking - clients reporting that they have achieved health milestones like weight loss and strength gain.
