I have private health insurance. Do you accept this form of payment?Yes, we accept all private health types and have a HICAPs terminal available in the room which you can use to pay for your appointment.

Do you accept work cover referrals?Yes we accept work cover referrals and we will liaise with your Doctor and the Insurance Company taking care of your claim.

Do I need a referral to see a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist?No, a referral is not a requirement if you wish to see a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist. If you wish for progress notes and reports to be sent to your Doctor or other health professionals, simply inform your Practitioner.

How much does it cost to see a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist?An initial appointment costs $100 and subsequent appointments will vary in cost based on the duration of the session. A 30 minute session will cost $85, a 45 minute session will cost $100 and an hour session will cost $120.

How many sessions do I need to see a Physio?The length of treatment for an injury will vary between individuals due to a multitude of factors such as fitness capacity, co-morbidity and the injury type and extent. Typically, for pain management an average client will see a Physio 1-4 times. To treat an acute injury an average client will see a Physio 6-12 times. For chronic conditions, this number could be higher.

Is there parking available?Yes, our clients can park for free at the DOOLEYs Health and Fitness parking. We are located within the Gym on level 2.

Can I take public transport to Stay Active Longer?Yes, our clinic is conveniently located a 2 minute walk from Lidcombe Station on Church Street. Lidcombe is serviced regularly by bus and rail networks.

What should I bring to the session?1. Bring or email any Doctors letters, scans, and reports 2. Wear appropriate exercise attire including shoes 3. Bring a towel and sufficient hydration. We do have bubblers and a water filter available on site

Do you Bulk Bill Medicare Referrals?We accept CDM/EPC referrals however we do charge a small gap fee to make up of the cost of the session. This is to ensure that we can continue to meet operational costs and continue to provide high quality interventions to the community.
